  August 11th 2017. I just stopped at Direct Tools in Wisconsin. I've been coming here once a year every year since I found the place. Normally the service is great however this year there was a brain fart. I purchased $400 worth of tools and proceeded out of the store only to find a coupon for $10 off your purchase of $50 or more. I returned to the store five minutes after my purchase and asked if I could pick up something off the shelf with 14 bucks and use the $10 coupon seeing is that I had just spent 400. The answer was a resounding no and when I try to rationalize with the shopkeeper I was told I would have to buy another tool for $50 and that was the only way they can do it. Pretty disappointing for someone who just spent $400. Customers are worth thousands of dollars over their lifetime and to jeopardize it over a $10 coupon seems asinine. Perhaps some better training in customer service is required.
